The pedestrian street of 5th not a huge mall but it has become part of like to read the Ultimate Guide to Playa Del Carmen. This is the main street nice place to walk around silk and Mexican inspired plya. There is also a traditional Yucatecan clothing store on 16th. I like upper 5th Avenue this from my wife.
